Standard doors
are 45mm thick and are variable in width and height to suit aperatures.
Doors in excess of 45mm can be manufactured to your specification.
All doors exceeding 900mm wide are fitted with a fourth hinge for
maximum rigidity.
The security
hinge is manufactured from 3.5mm stainless steel with a steel peg
passing through the hinge pad then through the hinge into the door,
making it impossible to dismantle the hinge when the door is closed.
All hinges are fixed with 6mm stainless steel screws for maximum
security.
Door skins vary
from 22 s.w.g. to 16 s.w.g. Zintec Steel. Heavier doors are manufactured
as specials upto 5mm. Doors are made up of a honeycomb construction
which is bonded between the steel door skins with AX7025 polyurethane
based laminating adhesive, and will resist temperatures from 60
to 180°C for extended periods. The honeycomb has the highest
strength to weigh ration (in sandwich form) of any known material,
yet the core may weigh less thank 15kg per cubic metre, depending
upon its grade.
All doors are
finished in primer. Powder coat finish to any standard BS RAL colour.

'U' channel welded top and bottom for maximum security. All doors
have a 2.5mm bevelled edge for a close neat fit to frame.

lock box is standard and will house all types of locks. Special
lock boxes are supplied on request.
