from sun and rain. Cladding may be insulated and finished to match
or complement the building's appearance.
Hi-Fold Doors can be used on both new and refurbishment projects
particularly for industrial, commercial, warehousing, aviation,
agricultural and marine facilities.
Hi-Fold doors are CE marked thus complying with the EC Directives

two full width door sections that are hinged across the horizontal
centre line of the door and also to the underside of the steel lintel.
Auxiliary arms support the door in the fully open position and are
stored against the jamb posts when the door is closed. |

The door is winched up and down by means of steel

a horizontal steel tubular shaft assembly positioned internally. The shaft
is driven by a 240 v, single phase, electric motor complete with internal
24 v push button unit, via sprocket and chain drives. Remote control/safety
packages are available. A generator socket, replacing the standard isolator,
enables the end-user's generator to be easily connected to allow automatic
operation in the event of power failure.

leathergrain range in standard masterline colours, complete with internal

a PVC weather seal to the top of the door, compressed neoprene seals fitted
to door posts and between upper and lower door sections and a flexible
rubber bulb seal to the bottom of the door.

high security and ensuring that the door is fully sealed against the frame.
The latches are automatically activated when the door is operated.

DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
The Hi-Fold door requires a lintel with flush face
externally, set at full structural height of door, (as opposed to clear
height), in line with the flush face of the door posts. The lintel and
door posts need to be exposed externally, free of cladding and flashings,
to allow unhindered operation of the door gear.
